🎟️ Ready, Set, Preview!

Universal Orlando just unlocked the gates to Epic Universe early—and guess what? You don’t need to be an Annual Passholder or onsite hotel guest to snag a sneakpeek ticket. That’s right—tickets for wave two of Epic Universe’s previews are now on sale to the general public, available now through May 19, 2025. Let's get into the deets.

📢 Universal Orlando’s Official Announcement

“Don’t miss this unique opportunity to take part in a special preview before the May 22, 2025 Grand Opening of Universal Orlando Resort’s newest theme park. During this Preview period, we’re putting the final touches in place and rehearsing, so some attractions and experiences may not be available. Limited availability: tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Restrictions apply. Prices vary by day, plus tax. Epic Universe Grand Opening is May 22, 2025.”

📅 Preview Dates & Details

  • First AP and onsite guests preview wave: Already underway through May 8, 2025

  • Second preview wave: May 9–19, 2025

  • Grand opening: May 22, 2025 (media events on May 20–21)

Keep in mind: attractions and experiences are being polished during previews, so a ride or two might not be available—and tickets are first-come, first-served basis.

💰 May Preview Ticket Pricing (pretax)

May 1, 6–8, 12–15: $144

May 2 & 5: $149

May 3, 10, 17: $154

May 4, 9, 11, 16, 18–19: $149

Pixie Dust Spotlight: these public-preview prices run about $20 more than Annual Passholder previews—but they’re actually lower than tickets previously sold to Universal Resort hotel guests.

🎢 Crowd Expectations & Capacity Caps

Annual Passholders, on-site resort guests, and others who have already purchased tickets might be bracing for bigger crowds now that Universal has opened Epic Universe previews to the general public—and that’s totally understandable. Yes, extending tickets to everyone will drive attendance up compared to wave one, but there’s good news: even with higher daily sale caps, preview numbers remain well below what you’d see on official opening day. So while you’ll share the magic with more fellow fans, you won’t be elbow-to-elbow like May 22!

🎉 Our Preview Plans & What’s Next

We’ve already locked in our preview tickets and can’t wait to bring you the good, the quirky, and yes—the downright “OMG” moments from Universal’s boldest park yet. Expect ridethrough videos, dining highlights, hidden gems, and “things you didn’t know you needed to pack” intel on Practically Perfect Pixie Dust.
