Planning a Disney or Universal vacation is exciting… until you realize how many decisions there are.
Which resort?
Which park order?
Lightning Lane or Express Pass?
Dining reservations?
Is Epic Universe worth it yet?
And what if you get it wrong?
That’s where I come in.
I’m Brenda Long — a travel advisor with MEI-Travel and the planner behind Practically Perfect Pixie Dust. I help families plan Disney, Universal, cruises, and international trips every day — and my planning services are completely free when you book your vacation through me.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone anymore.

Is This Actually Free?
Yes — truly.
Travel advisors are paid by the travel supplier (Disney, Universal, cruise lines, or resorts), not by you. The price of your vacation is the same whether you book it yourself online or book it with me.
The difference?
When you book with me, you also get a planner, researcher, reminder system, and problem-solver included.
No fees.
No obligation.
No pressure to book.
You can simply ask questions and see your options.
What Happens After You Contact Me?
After you request a quote:
-
I email you to learn about your group, budget, and goals
-
We can schedule a quick call if helpful (optional — many clients prefer email)
-
I build vacation options tailored specifically to you
-
You decide if you want to move forward — no pressure
If you book, I then:
• Secure your reservation
• Monitor discounts
• Guide you through each planning step
• Help with dining, Lightning Lanes, and timing
• Answer questions (yes — you can email me a lot 😄)
Who My Planning Support Is For
My hands-on planning support is included for trips I book and manage for my clients.
Why? Because I stay actively involved throughout your planning — monitoring discounts, helping with dining and Lightning Lane strategy, answering questions, and assisting if something changes during your trip. That level of support is part of my role as your travel advisor.
If you’ve already booked your vacation directly, I’m still happy to point you toward helpful guides on the blog and answer a quick question when I can — but I am not able to provide full trip planning or itinerary building.
If you’re unsure whether I can help with your situation, you’re always welcome to reach out and ask. I’ll be honest and kind about what I can realistically assist with.
Why Families Book With Me
Because Disney and Universal vacations are expensive — and mistakes are easy.
I help you:
✔ Avoid choosing the wrong resort for your family
✔ Understand Lightning Lane, Express Pass, and park strategy
✔ Plan around crowds and closures
✔ Navigate Epic Universe and new attractions
✔ Travel successfully with sensory needs, mobility issues, or anxiety
✔ Know what actually matters (and what doesn’t)
I don’t just love travel — I actively plan trips every day for real families.
I’ve visited Walt Disney World over 30 times, regularly tour Universal Orlando (including Epic Universe), and stay constantly up to date on park changes, policies, and planning strategies through both professional training and firsthand visits.
Specialized Help for Neurodivergent Travelers
As a parent of a neurodivergent adult, I understand that travel planning isn’t just about hotels and rides.
It’s about:
• avoiding overwhelm
• managing expectations
• sensory breaks
• safe pacing
• realistic daily plans
I regularly help families traveling with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and sensory sensitivities build trips that are successful — not stressful.
You will never have to explain your concerns or feel dismissed here.

Do I pay extra to use a travel advisor?
No. The vacation price is the same whether you book yourself or through me.
Can I still control my trip?
Yes. You make all final decisions — I provide options and guidance.
When should I contact you?
The earlier, the better — even if you’re just starting to think about a trip.
Many families reach out 12–18 months before travel, especially for Disney Cruise Line, international tips, and peak seasons like holidays and spring break. Early planning gives you the best resort choices, cruise cabins, and pricing.
But don’t worry — I also help last-minute vacations when availability allows. Whether your trip is two years away or two months away, you can still reach out and I’ll tell you honestly what options you have.
Do you only plan Disney trips?
No — I also plan Universal Orlando, cruises, all-inclusive resorts, and international vacations.
