On-the-Ground Updates

We were in EPCOT last weekend soaking in all the sights, tastes, and sounds of the 2025 International Food & Wine Festival! This was a trip where things went sideways more than once, but I'm delighted to say our Food & Wine festival time was not one of those moments. We ate both old favorites and new treats, imbibed a few of the best offerings, grabbed some festival merch, and even caught Mercy Me at Eat the Beats. The weather was sometimes iffy, but we mostly managed to stay dry and avoid over heating. But mostly we enjoyed the festival atmosphere and enjoyed our time together. 🍷🌍

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Mid-Festival Additions (Sept 21, 2025)

🎉 Festival Favorites Booth Opens!

EPCOT just debuted the Festival Favorites Global Marketplace at CommuniCore Hall next to CommuniCore Plaza Stage. This brand-new marketplace features returning fan-favorite dishes like Kielbasa & Potato Pierogies and Curry-Spiced Fried Cheese. You’ll also find sips like the Frozen S’mores (non-alcoholic) and the Irish Milk Shake for adults.

It should be noted that this location is outside of CommuniCore Hall, not inside the building.

🥟 More Booths Coming Soon

This is the start of Food & Wine’s second wave of kiosks. Gyozas of the Galaxy and Coastal Eats officially open September 28, 2025, with even more late-season additions rumored to be coming inside of ComminuCore Hall.

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Festival Favorites has nearby seating and A/C in CommuniCore Hall—making it one of the best booths for a snack break and a cool-down.

Our Festival Favorites from Opening Weekend (2025)

We ate our way around EPCOT’s 2025 International Food & Wine Festival and here’s what stood out this trip:

🌟 New for 2026

  • Milled & Mulled: [NEW] Butternut Squash and Ginger Bisque – Rich and velvety, with cinnamon cream, toasted pumpkin seeds, and a drizzle of pumpkin seed oil. A perfect cozy fall bite!

🌸 Perennial Favorite

  • China: Chicken Dumplings – Served with house-made sweet-and-spicy sauce. We could eat these every day and never get tired of them!

🥂 Sips We Loved

  • Shimmering Sips: Mimosa Flight (alcoholic) – a fizzy trio that’s always worth starting the day with. The Blood-Orange was our absolute fav.

  • China: Mango-Peach Bubble Tea (non-alcoholic) – sweet, refreshing, and one of the best festival cool-downs.

🍰 Desserts Worth Saving Room For

  • Swirled Showcase: Liquid Nitrogen Frozen Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse – made with Philadelphia Cream Cheese, topped with candied pecans and maple-caramel sauce. The texture + chill factor = dessert magic.

🧀 Fromage Montage Pick

  • Brazil: Pão de Queijo – Brazilian cheese bread that’s warm, chewy, and always a crowd favorite. (Bonus: it counts toward your Fromage Montage stamps!)

👎 One We’d Skip Next Time

  • Bramblewood Bites: Cast Iron-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Root Vegetables – sadly turned out mushy and way less appealing than it sounded on paper. We’ll be walking past this one next time.

✨ Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend (Oct 23–26, 2025)

This runDisney event blends fitness and foodie fun as part of EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival. All races are currently sold out, but guests should be aware that park attendance will likely spike this weekend due to the influx of runners and spectators.

Global Marketplace Food Booths

Every EPCOT festival brings something tasty to the table, but Food & Wine is where the culinary magic really shines. For 2025, Disney is serving up 35 Global Marketplace booths—each one offering unique bites and sips from around the world. With more than 100 different food and drink options available, there's truly something for every palate.

As the name suggests, food and drinks are the star of the show here. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or just snack-curious, this festival is the perfect opportunity to try dishes from a variety of cultures—or finally order that adventurous bite you've never dared to before.

Fan-Favorite Festival Dishes

🌮 Try the Tostada de Camarones from the Mexico booth

🥢 Sample the Crispy Duck Bao Bun with hoisin sauce in China

🍛 Dig into the Curried Chicken and South African Boerewors Sausage Stew served in a bread bowl at the Outpost

🧀 Snack on Spanish Charcuterie from the Spain marketplace

And that’s just a small taste of what’s to come!

🧚 Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Don’t feel like you need to tackle it all in one day! Grab a festival passport and pace yourself—split dishes with your crew so you can sample more without filling up too fast.

Drinks & Unique Festival Sips

🍹 The festival is also a great place to sip your way around the world! From mimosas and sangria to ciders and beer flights, there are dozens of creative (and refreshing) beverages to try—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We’re especially excited to check out some of the more adventurous cocktails and maybe share a flight or two.

Then there are the truly unique—and some might say wacky—festival items. The Pickle Milkshake over at the Brew-Wing Lab is returning this year, and it’s definitely one of those love-it-or-cringe experiences. Some people say it’s surprisingly delightful… others pull a face and never look back. (We are strongly in camp number 2.)

🧚 Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Want a head start on what to sip in EPCOT (and beyond)? Check out Kim’s Ultimate Adult Drink Guide to Walt Disney World for year-round favorites, festival sips, and a few hidden gems you won’t want to miss!

🍴 New Dishes to Try in 2025

One of the most exciting parts of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival each year is spotting the new bites making their debut. Here are a few of the must-try new dishes for 2025:

  • 🥟 Buffalo-Style DumplingsGyozas of the Galaxy (NEW booth opening Sept 28 near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind)

  • 🍂 Pumpkin-Mascarpone RavioliForest & Field (rich and seasonal, a perfect fall comfort bite)

  • 🍖 Beef Wagyu DonJapan Marketplace (premium wagyu beef served over rice)

  • 🥙 Moroccan WrapTangierine Café (a fresh new festival dish from Morocco’s pavilion)

  • 🍰 Basque CheesecakeSpain Marketplace (creamy, caramelized, and sure to be a fan favorite)

And don’t forget — Emile’s Fromage Montage 2025 is back at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival with even more cheesy dishes to sample on your way to earning that bonus treat. 🧀 It’s such a fan-favorite tradition that it deserves its own spotlight below!

🍽️ How We Tackle EPCOT Food & Wine in a Day

With 35 booths and more than 100 menu items, it’s easy to feel like you have to “eat it all” in one trip — but trust us, you’ll be stuffed long before you reach the finish line.

2025 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Passport

Here’s the approach we usually take to make the most of our festival days at the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival:

  • Pick Your Must-Trys: Before we even set foot in EPCOT, we circle about 10–15 dishes on the festival menu that are absolute musts for us.

  • Start Early: Booths typically open around 11:00 AM, so we like to hit World Showcase right as they do. Lines are lighter, and it’s easier to sample those must-haves before the big crowds arrive.

  • Share & Sample: If your group has similar palates, order several dishes and take a bite or two of each. That way, you’ll have room to enjoy more festival favorites without getting too full.

  • Take a Midday Break: Head toward World Discovery or World Nature for a ride, catch one of the World Showcase shows, or head back to your resort for a nap. Giving your stomach time to recover is especially important on hot and humid Florida days.

  • Round 2 at Night: Evenings are perfect for grabbing seconds of favorites, trying a beer or cider flight, and picking up another 10–15 new items you missed earlier in the day.

  • You Can’t Do It All: Don’t stress about checking off every booth. Some of our best EPCOT Food & Wine days have been spent just strolling, sampling, and soaking in the festival atmosphere without a rigid plan.

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: If you’re short on time, prioritize new booths and seasonal items — the returning fan favorites will usually stick around all season, but the debuts often have the longest lines in the first weeks.

🧀 Emile’s Fromage Montage

✨ Returning for 2025!

Who doesn’t want an excuse to eat more cheese? Disney calls this a scavenger hunt, but let’s be real—it’s a cheese crawl, and we’re 100% here for it. Emile’s Fromage Montage invites you to snack your way through EPCOT, sampling select cheesy dishes across the park and earning a prize for your efforts. 🧀🎉

Emile's Fromage Montage Sign 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival

To get started, grab a Festival Passport (available at park entrances, merchandise locations, and food booths) and look for the cheese icons marking qualifying menu items. As you taste your way through the crawl, make sure to get a stamp each time you purchase one of the featured dishes.

Complete five and head over to Shimmering Sips (near the Port of Entry in World Showcase Plaza) to redeem your cheese-filled adventure for a special bonus treat!

🧚 Pixie Dust Pro Tip: We marked all the Emile-approved booths with a little cheese icon on our EPCOT International Wood and Wine Festival Map to make your crawl even easier. Grab a drink, grab your passport, and let the cheese games begin!

🧩 EPCOT Festival Scavenger Hunts

One of our favorite hidden gems at any EPCOT festival? The themed scavenger hunts! They’re the perfect way to explore World Showcase with a little extra purpose—especially if you’re traveling with kids or just love a good challenge. Remember the more of the wine part of food and wine you enjoy - the harder that will get. The 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival brings back two fan-favorite scavenger hunts, and we’ll definitely be playing along!

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak

🐭 Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak

✨ Returning for 2025!

We’ve loved hunting down Spike the Bee during Flower & Garden and spotting hidden Figments during Festival of the Arts—but during Food & Wine, it’s all about Remy! This adorable scavenger hunt has you spotting little chef Remy as he prepares ingredients across the World Showcase.

To participate, purchase a Hide & Squeak map (2025 cost has increased to $11.99 plus tax) at one of several locations: Disney Traders, Port of Entry, Creations Shop, World Traveler, or most festival merchandise kiosks.

Each Remy you find is paired with a specific ingredient—match them correctly on your map, and once you’ve completed the hunt, return it to Disney Traders, World Traveler, or Gateway Gifts to collect your prize.

🧚 Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Don’t rush! This hunt is a fun way to slow down and explore details you might otherwise miss—and it's especially helpful to keep littles engaged between bites and sips.

Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit

🎃 Limited-Time Event: September 29 – October 31, 2025

Back again this year is Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit—a fall-themed scavenger hunt that runs throughout the month of October. You’ll purchase a game board (just like with Remy’s hunt) from Disney Traders, Creations Shop, Port of Entry, World Traveler, or most festival merchandise kiosks.

Then start your quest to spot all the themed pumpkins hidden around EPCOT! Once you’ve found them all, return your completed board to Disney Traders or World Traveler to claim your prize.

🧚 Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Doing both hunts in the same day? Use one as a warm-up and the other as an afternoon stroll while you digest between booths!

Eat to the Beat Concert Series

Eat the Beat Concert Series 2025

Another EPCOT festival tradition we love? Live music under the stars! The Eat to the Beat Concert Series brings high-energy performances to the America Gardens Theatre nearly every night during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.

This popular concert series features a mix of nationally known artists and local talent, offering something for everyone—from 90s and early 2000s throwbacks to new fan favorites. In past years, acts like The Fray, 98°, Boyz II Men, and Sugar Ray have taken the stage, and 2025 is shaping up to deliver even more hits.

🎟️ While we’re there in 2023, we were especially excited to catch Boyz II Men—they always bring the nostalgia and the crowd!

🧚 Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Dining packages are especially handy on weekends and for the most popular acts. We’ve used them at all four EPCOT International Festivals when planning to see big-name performers, and it’s always helped us lock in a seat. Just keep in mind—you may still need to wait in the pre-show line (sometimes up to an hour!) to snag the best spots. But even if the theater fills up, your reserved badge guarantees you’ll get in!

📍 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Map

When planning our own festival days, we always start with the map. We wanted something that not only showed Global Marketplace booth locations, but also helped us find shady spots to rest, indoor air-conditioned seating, and places to escape those Florida downpours. When we couldn’t find one that checked all the boxes, so we made our own! ✨ You can download our custom EPCOT Food & Wine Festival map below as a JPG for your phone or a printable PDF for your park bag. Check it out ⬇️.

***Our 2025 map is updated with all the details released so far—and we’ll keep it fresh as the final Global Marketplace (food booth) information rolls in.
