On warm sunny days, in the late morning to early afternoon very! Especially with Disney resort guests having free entry on arrival day. On weekends it does sometimes hit capacity. Does Typhoon Lagoon ever close for inclement weather?
At Typhoon Lagoon, a little rain won't rain on your parade—even a heavy downpour does not usually force the park to close. Guests can continue to enjoy the pools and slides as long as there’s no lightning. If lightning does appear, everyone will be guided out of the water for safety. And should the weather turn severe, guests can stay in the park until the skies clear and it’s safe to splash back in. If the park ever needs to close, all guests will be asked to exit. Depending on when it happens, Guest Services might offer a rain check to make up for the lost fun. If you're caught in this situation, be sure to swing by Guest Services at the water park for more details.
If I am Disney Resort Guest, so I need to check into the hotel on my arrival day before heading to Typhoon Lagoon?
Guests do not have to check in to their resort before going to a Disney water park. That means you can head straight to your water park of choice to save you time.
