Updated October 2025 — Good news for Disney Dining Plan fans: this year’s EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is one giant playground for your snack credits.

Almost every dish at the Global Marketplaces qualifies as a Disney Dining Plan snack credit—which means you can sip and snack your way around World Showcase without worrying if something “counts.”

Here’s how it works, what (very few) exceptions exist, and how to get the best value from every credit.

Food & Wine Festival Passport

Let’s break down how it works, what counts, and a few smart ways to stretch every credit while sipping and snacking around the world.

🧭 How It Works

Every festival booth displays a purple “DDP” logo next to qualifying items, and in 2025 that’s practically everything that isn’t an alcoholic drink or tasting flight.

  • ✅ Most small plates, desserts, and non-alcoholic drinks count as snack credits.

  • 🚫 You can’t redeem meal credits (Quick-Service or Table-Service) at festival booths.

  • ❌ Oversized or shareable dishes - like the Huckleberry Funnel Cake or Braised Beef Poutine—do not qualify.

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Think of Food & Wine as a “snack credit paradise.” If it’s a single-serve portion, it probably qualifies. Save the mental math for your next Lightning Lane.

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: If you’re unsure, just ask a Cast Member before you tap your band or phone! Booth teams are used to Dining Plan questions and can point you to the best eligible options.

🎯 Snack Credit Strategy: Make Every Bite Count

Since you can use snack credits almost anywhere, the real trick is knowing where to get the most value.

  1. Target higher-priced dishes ($8 and up).A lobster tail from Coastal Eats or filet mignon in Canada stretches your credit further than a basic dessert.

  2. Use snack credits on festival days.Booth food averages $6–$10, which is typically a better value than park snacks like pretzels or churros.

  3. Plan a “snack-around-the-world” lunch. Two or three credits can easily make a full meal when you mix savory, sweet, and something sippable.

  4. Skip bottled water or soda.Use your resort refill mug instead—save those credits for specialty eats.

  5. Check menus in My Disney Experience. The DDP symbol isn’t always shown digitally yet, but booth descriptions match the on-site menus.

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: The sweet spot for value? Anything $8 – $10, especially protein-based dishes, desserts, or creative festival exclusives.

🌍 Can I Use the Dining Plan for Eat to the Beat Dining Packages?

No. Eat to the Beat Dining Packages require a separate reservation and payment — they’re not redeemable with Disney Dining Plan credits. That said, the concerts themselves are included with EPCOT admission, so you can still enjoy the show while dining on your snack-credit bites.
