🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Character meet and greets change throughout the day, so check the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date times before you hop in line.

Types of Character Meet and Greets at EPCOT
Main Characters:
A number of iconic Disney characters appear throughout the day at designated, permanent meet-and-greet locations. These often include detailed backdrops, indoor queues, and PhotoPass photographers. You’ll find their current wait times listed in the My Disney Experience app under Attractions or Entertainment.
Intermittent Characters:
These characters appear at set locations, but their schedule may vary. Some pop up regularly, while others are used to enhance entertainment during busy times. Availability can change day-to-day, so check the My Disney Experience app for real-time updates on which characters are meeting and when.
Pop-up Character Sightings:
These spontaneous character appearances don’t follow a strict schedule and usually happen in open areas around the park. While these characters won’t stop for autographs or posed photos, they often wave, interact from a distance, or engage with guests in creative ways. They're a fun surprise as you explore!.
Character Dinning:
Table service restaurants like Akershus Royal Banquet Hall or Garden Grill offer character dining experiences where beloved Disney characters visit each table. They pause to chat, sign autographs, and pose for photos—making it a more relaxed and air-conditioned way to meet characters. Keep in mind, these meals tend to be pricey and Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) are strongly recommended.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Character dining can be a game-changer for young kids—or guests with sensory sensitivities—who may not feel comfortable in long lines or crowded settings.
Tips for meeting the characters:
Character meet and greets tend to be very popular. For characters that have set meeting times, we recommend getting in line to meet them at least 15 minutes before they are scheduled to appear. Since these characters are only out for a set period of time, the line gets cut off once a specified number of guests has been reached.
Many meet and greets have photopass photographers on hand to capture the moment. We are big proponents of getting memory maker (more on that here) but if you don’t have it you can also ask the photographer to take a photo with your camera.
We recommend becoming familiar with your My Disney Experience (MDE) App, where you will be able to find available characters and times, under Characters, for when you are in the park.
Almost all the characters who do actual meet and greets are happy to sign their autograph, which can be a fun souvenir and memento from your trip. Some like Buzz Lightyear have stamp instead of signing by hand. You can buy autograph books around the park, make your own, or get creative and have characters sign an object. We’ve seen people carry around the matte from a photo frame, and then they can frame their Disney photo with the autographs, or a jacket that they ask characters to sign the back of. If you do a little thinking outside the box you can have a unique and fun souvenir to bring home.
Meet Your Favorite Characters at EPCOT: Who You’ll Find and Where:
Main Characters

Anna & Elsa – Norway Pavilion
Step into the cozy Royal Sommerhus in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion to meet Anna and Elsa in their charming summer cabin. This red wooden building is tucked on the left side of the pavilion and easy to spot on your way to Frozen Ever After.
👑 Guests meet Anna and Elsa one after the other, making it a two-for-one royal encounter! They typically begin greeting guests shortly after park opening and continue into the early evening.
⏳ Note: There’s no Lightning Lane for this meet and greet—just a standby line, which usually moves at a reasonable pace.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Want a shorter wait? Head to the Royal Sommerhus right after park opening or during dinner hours when most guests are eating around World Showcase.
Figment – ImageWorks, World Celebration
Looking for that one little spark of imagination? 🐉 Head to ImageWorks in World Celebration to meet the one and only Figment—a dream come true for longtime EPCOT fans! This brand-new meet and greet debuted on September 10, 2023, and has quickly
become one of the park’s most popular photo ops.
🕘 Figment currently greets guests from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:45 PM to 3:45 PM inside the ImageWorks area, located near the exit of Journey Into Imagination with Figment.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Figment’s meet and greet, while still popular, is no longer drawing the massive crowds it once did. Wait times build in the morning, but are often under 5 minutes, in the afternoon.

Mickey, Minnie & Goofy – CommuniCore Hall, World Celebration
Say hello to Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy at the brand-new Mickey & Friends meet and greet inside CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT’s World Celebration! This bright and modern space gives guests a chance to snap photos, score autographs, and share a hug with Mickey and some of his closest pals.
🎉 During busier times, you might even spot additional friends joining the fun—so it’s always worth a visit!
✅ This is often one of the least crowded places to meet Mickey Mouse in all of Walt Disney World, making it a great choice for families looking to avoid long lines.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Want to meet Mickey without a huge wait? Head to CommuniCore Hall in the late morning or early afternoon—lines here are usually shorter than at Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios!

Intermittent Characters
Moana – World Nature (Near Journey of Water)
🌊 Drop by to see Moana near her interactive attraction, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, in EPCOT’s World Nature neighborhood! She greets guests in a lush, tropical setting—perfect for chatting about wayfinding, Te Fiti, or even that mischievous Hei Hei. Moana typically appears throughout the day, but check the My Disney Experience app for the latest times.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Moana is one of the few Disney heroines you can meet in a natural, outdoor setting—so bring your camera for some beautifully lit, scenic photos!

Star-Lord – World Discovery
(Near Cosmic Rewind)🎸 Looking for a totally cosmic character encounter? Head over to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in World Discovery, where you might find Star-Lord himself stopping by for some epic Earth-style fun. He’s usually joined by Gamora, and together they love interacting with guests—often while a killer soundtrack plays in the background!
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: While they don’t have a formal meet-and-greet with a posted line, Star-Lord and Gamora often appear during dance parties or pop-up appearances. Check the app or ask a nearby Cast Member for showtimes so you don’t miss this awesome encounter.

Pluto – EPCOT Entrance Plaza🐾
You can meet Pluto just outside Spaceship Earth, in the EPCOT entrance plaza—specifically to the right-hand side as you’re facing the iconic EPCOT ball. This is a great spot to snag a photo with Mickey’s favorite pup without venturing deep into the park.
📸 This meet and greet is typically available throughout the day, but exact times may vary—be sure to check the My Disney Experience app during your visit.
🎭 Intermittent Characters in the World Showcase
Many EPCOT character meet and greets take place right where their stories are set—making the World Showcase one of the most magical spots to find Disney royalty and fan-favorite friends. Here's a quick look at where to find characters in each country pavilion, as you make your way clockwise around the lagoon, starting on the left near Mexico.

Asha – World Showcase Plaza Gazebo✨
Asha, Disney’s newest princess from Wish, is now greeting guests at the Gazebo in World Showcase Plaza! You’ll find her on the left-hand side of the main walkway as you head toward the Mexico Pavilion. This beautiful spot offers a magical backdrop for meeting a modern heroine with a heart full of hope.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Asha’s line can build quickly in the morning—swing by in the early afternoon for a shorter wait and great lighting for photos.
Donald Duck – Mexico Pavilion🎺
¡Olé! Just past the pyramid in the Mexico Pavilion, you’ll find Donald Duck dressed as one of the Three Caballeros, complete with poncho and sombrero. This colorful, festive meet and greet is one of the most unique character encounters in EPCOT—and a fan favorite for classic Disney lovers!
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Donald doesn’t appear all day—so check the app for set times. And don’t forget to tell him he’s number one… he loves it. 😉

Mulan – China Pavilion (Great Hall of China)🐉
Inside the Great Hall of China, you’ll find Mulan in her beautiful pink and blue gown, ready to greet guests and share stories of honor and courage. This elegant indoor space provides shade and atmosphere for one of EPCOT’s most unique princess encounters.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Mulan is often out in the late morning and early afternoon, so check the app or ask a Cast Member for her schedule on the day of your visit.
Snow White – Germany Pavilion (Wishing Well)🍎
Look for the wishing well to the left of the Germany Pavilion (when facing it from the lagoon)—that’s where you’ll find Snow White, ready to greet guests with a smile and perhaps a song. This quaint, fairytale-style nook feels straight out of the forest!
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Snow White’s meet-and-greet often starts in the late morning. Arrive early to beat the heat and the crowds—especially during festival days!
Jasmine – Morocco Pavilion (Lamps of Wonder)🕌
Make your way to the back of the Morocco Pavilion to find Jasmine in her immersive Lamps of Wonder meet-and-greet area. Surrounded by lanterns, arches, and a bit of Agrabah flair, this hidden gem is the perfect place to meet the Princess of Adventure.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Jasmine’s line stays relatively short compared to other princesses—especially midday when most guests are eating around the lagoon.
Aurora – France Pavilion (Fragrance Gardens Gazebo)🌸
You can meet Aurora—once upon a dream—in the Fragrance Gardens Gazebo located in the France Pavilion. Facing into the pavilion, head to the right side of the plaza along the walkway toward Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Aurora appears in her classic pink gown and loves chatting about woodland animals and fairy godmothers.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: This is one of the most charming photo spots for a princess meet-and-greet—especially in spring when the surrounding gardens are in full bloom.
Belle – France Pavilion (Waterfront)📚
Say Bonjour! to Belle near the water’s edge in the France Pavilion, directly across from Chefs de France. Dressed in her blue village dress, Belle often greets guests during the day with a backdrop of the World Showcase Lagoon.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Morning meet times are common, and there’s no Lightning Lane—so check the app and arrive early to enjoy shorter waits and softer lighting for photos.
Daisy Duck – International Gateway (Between France & UK Pavilions)
💐 Looking fabulous as ever, Daisy Duck is ready to meet her fans at the International Gateway, tucked between the France and United Kingdom Pavilions in World Showcase. She appears at select times throughout the day, so be sure to check the My Disney Experience app for her latest schedule.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Daisy is one of the most stylish characters you can meet—and her World Showcase spot is rarely too busy, making it an ideal stop for a relaxed photo op.
Alice – United Kingdom Pavilion Garden☕
You don’t have to fall down a rabbit hole to meet Alice—just head to the charming UK Pavilion garden, near the Tea Caddy shop. She often greets guests in the shade of blooming hedges, making it one of the most picturesque character spots in EPCOT.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Alice typically appears in the morning and early afternoon, so check the app and swing by early to avoid missing her Wonderland charm.
Winnie the Pooh – United Kingdom Pavilion🍯
You’ll find Winnie the Pooh meeting friends in Christopher Robin’s room, located at the very back of the United Kingdom Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase. This indoor setting is cozy and whimsical—just like the Hundred Acre Wood!
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: This location is tucked away, so it’s easy to miss! Look for the small door toward the back of the pavilion—Pooh often greets guests intermittently throughout the day.

Bonus Character: Mary Poppins – United Kingdom Pavilion🎀
Mary Poppins sometimes makes a practically perfect appearance in the UK Pavilion, though she’s not listed in the My Disney Experience app and usually only comes out when the park is especially busy.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Keep your eyes peeled around the garden path near the pavilion entrance—if she’s out, she often draws a small but delighted crowd. If you spot a parasol, you’re in luck!

🍽️ This rotating restaurant features fresh flavors (some grown right there in The Land’s greenhouses!) and is one of the most budget-friendly character meals on property, making it a great option for families.

✨ The lineup of princesses may vary, but you’ll often meet favorites like Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Snow White, and Tiana as they visit your table throughout the meal.
🍽️ Meals are served family-style, with Norwegian-inspired dishes at lunch and dinner. Some guests find the offerings a bit adventurous for picky eaters—so if you have one in your party, breakfast might be your best bet.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: This is one of EPCOT’s most popular character dining experiences, so advance dining reservations (ADRs) are strongly recommended—especially if you want a morning reservation before park opening.
