Festival of the Arts food bites from Italy 2025

The 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Food Guide is here! 🌟 Disney has released the full lineup of artistic bites, colorful sips, and visually stunning desserts — and we’re breaking it all down with helpful planning tips, returning favorites, new additions, and our own real-world Festival of the Arts strategy.

Food may not be the only focus of Festival of the Arts, but it’s one of the most creative. Expect smaller plates with elevated ingredients, bold presentations, and desserts that look like they belong in a gallery just as much as they do on your plate. From playful Figment treats and deconstructed classics to vibrant international flavors and technique-driven desserts, this festival is all about eating with your eyes first.

And of course, the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine is back! 🌈 We’ve clearly marked every qualifying dish throughout the menus below and included planning tips to help you pace the stroll without overdoing it — because at Festival of the Arts, strategy matters just as much as selection.

To make planning easier, we’ve paired this guide with our EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Map, which shows the location of every Food Studio, performance venue, and entertainment area around the park — with visual art installation locations being added as soon as Disney releases them.

Whether you’re building a snack-credit-friendly tasting plan, prioritizing the newest dishes, or pairing food stops with art installations and live performances, this guide is designed to help you slow down, savor, and enjoy Festival of the Arts the way it’s meant to be experienced.

🎨 “Before You Go” Festival of the Arts Planning Tips

✔ 1. Many Festival of the Arts dishes qualify as Disney Dining Plan snack credits

Festival of the Arts is one of the best EPCOT festivals for using Disney Dining Plan snack credits — especially for adults. Portions tend to be smaller but more elevated, with premium ingredients and visually artistic presentations that often feel like a splurge without using a table-service credit.

Wondering whether the Disney Dining Plan is actually worth it for your trip? We break down costs, value, real-world examples, and who benefits most in our Disney Dining Plan Guide.

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip:Festival of the Arts is ideal for using snack credits on higher-end items or dishes marked NEW, rather than basic sweets. You’ll get the most value from creative savory plates, seafood, and artistic desserts that feel more like tapas than snacks.

✔ 2. Booth lines are shortest late morning through early afternoon

Festival of the Arts crowds behave a little differently than other EPCOT festivals. Lines are typically lightest from late morning through early afternoon, before live performances and gallery browsing peak.

Unlike Festival of the Holidays, there’s usually less of an after-work local rush — but weekends can still see noticeable spikes.

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip:If you care about food photos, presentation, or not feeling rushed, eat earlier in the day. Festival of the Arts dishes are designed to be seen as much as eaten.

✔ 3. Indoor locations double as food stops and art breaks

Festival of the Arts offers several climate-controlled locations that are perfect for grabbing food while also enjoying visual art, performances, or a quick sensory reset:

  • CommuniCore Hall

  • The Odyssey

  • Connections CafĂŠ & Eatery

These indoor spaces are especially valuable on hot afternoons, rainy days, or when you want a break from walking booth to booth around World Showcase.

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Use indoor food studios as intentional pause points between outdoor booths — especially if you’re pairing dining with gallery browsing or live performances.

✔ 4. The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine is designed to be completed over time

You do not need to complete the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine in a single day. Your Festival Passport stamps carry over for the duration of the festival as long as you keep your passport.

This makes the food stroll especially flexible for:

  • Annual Passholders

  • Resort guests visiting EPCOT multiple times

  • Anyone with Park Hoppers who prefers to pace themselves

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip:Treat Colorful Cuisine as a pacing tool — not a race. Spreading it across multiple visits (or at least multiple meals) keeps the experience fun instead of overwhelming.

🌈 2026 Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine + Planning Checklist

The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine is Festival of the Arts’ food scavenger hunt — highlighting dishes that are just as colorful and creative as the artwork around EPCOT.

To complete the stroll, purchase any five qualifying Colorful Cuisine dishes (🌈) from participating Food Studios and have your Festival Passport stamped at each location.

Once you’ve collected all five stamps, present your completed passport at Deco Delights (near World Showcase Plaza)to receive a complimentary festival treat.

Unlike the Festival of the Holidays Cookie Stroll, Colorful Cuisine includes a mix of savory plates, desserts, and visually bold creations, which makes pacing and order especially important.

🌈 How to Plan the Colorful Cuisine Walk (Without Overdoing It)

  • You do not need to complete the stroll in one day

  • Stamps carry over for the duration of the festival as long as you keep your Festival Passport

  • Several qualifying dishes are richer and more filling than they look

  • Many items are excellent Disney Dining Plan snack credit values

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Think of Colorful Cuisine as a framework, not a checklist. Spread your five dishes across multiple meals or EPCOT visits so you can enjoy the artistry without feeling rushed or overfull.

🌈 Colorful Cuisine Checklist (2026 Qualifying Dishes)

We’ve marked every Colorful Cuisine dish with a 🌈 in the menus above. Use this quick-glance checklist to map out your route and decide which five make the most sense for your day.

🌈 Opening Bites

  • Enchanted Rose — Dark chocolate mousse rose

🌈 The Deconstructed Dish

🌈 Swirled Showcase

  • Liquid Nitrogen Minnie Cake Pop — Cotton candy sponge cake, white chocolate ganache, and colorful chocolate splats [New for 2026]

🌈 Strategy Tips for Choosing Your Five

Not all Colorful Cuisine dishes are created equal. When selecting your five, consider:

  • Mixing savory and sweet to avoid sugar overload

  • Starting with lighter or savory options earlier in the day

  • Saving richer mousse-style desserts for later

  • Sharing dishes if you’re traveling with adults or older kids

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Don’t start with the sweetest or heaviest item (like mousse cakes). Begin with a savory dish or something shareable so the stroll stays enjoyable through all five stamps.

🌈 Is the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine Worth It?

The Colorful Cuisine Walk is a great fit if:

  • This is your first Festival of the Arts visit

  • You enjoy visually creative food

  • You’re visiting EPCOT more than once during the festival

  • You want a built-in tasting goal without stopping at every booth

You may want to skip it if:

  • You strongly prefer savory-only festival food

  • You have very limited EPCOT time

  • You don’t enjoy dessert-forward experiences

🔔 “New This Year”  Highlights at Festival of the Arts (2026)

Festival of the Arts doesn’t usually debut dozens of brand-new items — instead, Disney focuses on creative techniques, bold presentations, and elevated ingredients. That makes the truly new additions for 2026 especially worth seeking out.

If you want to try what’s actually different this year, start here.

⭐ Brand-New Dishes Worth Prioritizing

These new food offerings stand out for their creativity, presentation, or overall value — and are the ones we’d build a tasting plan around:

  • 🌈 Enchanted Rose (Opening Bites) A dark chocolate mousse rose that’s as photogenic as it is rich — and a strategic pick for the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine.

  • 🌈 Deconstructed Key Lime Pie (The Deconstructed Dish) A Festival of the Arts–style dessert that balances flavor and presentation beautifully.

  • 🌈 Popcorn, Popcorn Chicken and Waffles (Figment’s Inspiration Station at The Odyssey)A playful, over-the-top new dish that’s filling enough to share and very on-theme for FoA.

  • 🌈 Color Scheme Cake (Figment’s Inspiration Station at The Odyssey) A bold, rainbow-hued dessert that leans into visual fun more than subtle flavors.

  • Chile Relleno Taco (El Artista Hambriento – Mexico) One of the stronger savory additions this year, with elevated ingredients and solid portion size.

  • Tostada de Cangrejo (El Artista Hambriento – Mexico) A fresh, seafood-forward option that feels lighter than many festival plates.

  • Hazelnut Praline Boller (Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe – Norway) A welcome new pastry option that’s easy to fit into a snack-based EPCOT day.

  • Polenta Pasticciata (L’Arte di Mangiare – Italy) Comfort food with an Italian twist — a good counterbalance to the dessert-heavy menus.

  • Steakhouse Lobster Caesar Salad (The Artist’s Table – American Adventure) One of the more premium new dishes for 2026 and a strong snack-credit value.

  • 🌈 Sparkling Spectacle Gâteau (Deco Delights) A polished, elegant dessert that feels very “Festival of the Arts” in both look and flavor.

  • 🌈 Liquid Nitrogen Minnie Cake Pop (Swirled Showcase) A new technique-driven dessert that’s fun, flashy, and distinctly FoA.

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: If a dish is marked [New for 2026] and looks like artwork, try it earlier in the day — these tend to be the most photographed and the most popular.

🌱 Standout New Plant-Based Option

Festival of the Arts continues to be one of EPCOT’s strongest festivals for plant-based creativity.

  • 🌈 Citrus-Braised Beet Tartare (Gourmet Landscapes – Canada) A visually striking, thoughtfully composed dish that’s as much about presentation as flavor.

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Even non–plant-based eaters often rank this among the most “Festival of the Arts” dishes on the menu.

🍹 Notable New Drinks & Sips for 2026

There are many new beverages this year, but these stand out for creativity, flavor, or visual appeal:

  • Classic Mojito with Mint Foam (Connections Eatery)

  • Matcharita & Pear-fect Margarita (Mexico)

  • Frozen French Martini (France)

  • Italian-Inspired Margarita & Sicilian Sunrise (Italy)

  • Pop Art Latte (Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company — non-alcoholic or spirited)

  • Pixel Perfect Pilsner (Pop Eats)

  • Wasabi IPA & Sake Flight (Japan)

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Festival of the Arts drinks often lean colorful and garnish-heavy — if it looks fun in photos, it’s probably new.

🧁 Our Festival of the Arts Dessert Picks

If we had to narrow it down, these are the Festival of the Arts desserts we’d personally build a plan around:

  • 🌈 Enchanted Rose (Opening Bites) Beautiful, rich, and best shared.

  • 🌈 Deconstructed Key Lime Pie (The Deconstructed Dish) A lighter flavor profile that still feels special.

  • 🌈 Sparkling Spectacle Gâteau (Deco Delights) Elegant, balanced, and very “Festival of the Arts.”

  • 🌈 Liquid Nitrogen Minnie Cake Pop (Swirled Showcase) A fun, technique-driven dessert that’s more about experience than heaviness.

🧚‍♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Sharing desserts lets you try more variety without feeling weighed down — and Festival of the Arts is all about sampling, not finishing everything solo.

Most Festival of the Arts Food Studios typically open around 11:00 AM and remain open until park close, though hours can vary by location or due to weather. Always double-check the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit for the most accurate hours.

❓ Can I enjoy Festival of the Arts without a Park Hopper ticket?

Yes. As long as you have valid admission for EPCOT on a festival day, you can enjoy Festival of the Arts food studios, Colorful Cuisine, visual art, and performances without needing Park Hopper.

If you do have Park Hopper, it can be easier to pop into EPCOT just for a few food stops, art installations, or a DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series performance later in the day

🎁 That’s a Wrap

And that wraps up our guide to the 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts — a festival that’s as much about creativity and expression as it is about food.

This year’s Food Studios offer a thoughtful mix of elevated savory plates, visually stunning desserts, and playful Figment-inspired bites, making Festival of the Arts one of the most unique (and strategic!) EPCOT festivals for food-focused planning. Whether you’re prioritizing dishes marked [New for 2026], building a snack-credit-friendly tasting plan, or pacing your way through the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, this festival is all about enjoying EPCOT at a slower, more intentional rhythm.
