When visiting Walt Disney World with younger kids, a stroller isn’t just helpful—it’s a lifesaver. 👶✨ Even if your child is 4, 5, or (yep, sometimes even 6), you’ll want to bring one or rent one. Walt Disney World involves a lot of walking. Let me say that again: a LOT of walking.
No matter how much energy your toddler, preschooler, or kindergartener has at rope drop, they’ll be completely wiped out by the afternoon. Having the option for them to ride makes the day easier for everyone. Plus, a stroller doubles as the perfect pack mule for snacks, water bottles, souvenirs, and all the “just in case” items parents inevitably carry. 👜🎈 In short—embrace the stroller!
Traveling with littles takes a bit of extra planning, but it’s totally doable (and magical!) when you know what to expect. Check out our full guide to Disney with babies, toddlers & preschoolers for tips on naps, snacks, and keeping everyone happy in the parks.

Can I Rent a Stroller at Walt Disney World?
Yes! Disney makes it easy to rent both single and double strollers at all four theme parks, as well as at Disney Springs.
Single Stroller – $15 per day, or $13 per day with a length-of-stay rental. Recommended for children 50 lbs or less.
Double Stroller – $31 per day, or $27 per day with a length-of-stay rental. Recommended for a combined weight of 100 lbs or less.
You can check out all of the details + terms & conditions at the Walt Disney World Stroller Rental page.
Strollers are rented on a first-come, first-served basis, so availability isn’t guaranteed. Length-of-stay rentals can be purchased at the parks, allowing you to prepay and then simply pick up a stroller each day. Just note: Disney strollers cannot be taken outside of the parks—you’ll need to return them before leaving.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: If you plan to rent for multiple days, a length-of-stay rental can save you a few dollars each day and save time in line.
Where to Rent a Stroller at Walt Disney World
You don’t have to search far for stroller rentals—each park and Disney Springs has a rental location right near the entrance. Here’s where you’ll find them in 2025:
🐘 Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Just inside the main entrance, to the right at Garden Gate Gifts.

🌐 EPCOT
At the main entrance, to the left near Spaceship Earth.

At the International Gateway entrance (between the UK and France pavilions), convenient for guests arriving by Disney Skyliner or walking from Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.

🎬 Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Just inside the entrance to the right, at Oscar’s Super Service.

🏰 Magic Kingdom
Before you pass under the train station, look to the far right side of the entrance.

Disney Springs:
🛍️ Disney Springs
West Side: near the AMC Theatres.
East Side: a smaller satellite location near The Polite Pig.
👉 You can also use the My Disney Experience app to find stroller rental spots. Just open the interactive map, tap the down arrow for Guest Services, then select Show List and scroll down to Stroller Rentals.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: If you’re arriving mid-morning or later, rental locations may get busy. Knowing the exact spot to head for can save you valuable park time!Rentals.
Advantages of Renting a Stroller Directly from Walt Disney World
One big perk of using Disney’s in-park stroller rentals is convenience. You don’t have to worry about hauling a bulky stroller onto buses, monorails, or boats. Just pick one up inside the park and drop it off on your way out—it’s that easy.
If you’ve got little ones who can’t ride the bigger attractions, Disney’s Rider Switch program is a game changer. 🎢 Learn how it works step-by-step in our Rider Swapping FAQ so no one misses out on the fun.
Can I Take My Rental from Park to Park?
Not exactly. Strollers can’t move between parks, but there’s an easy workaround: save your receipt. When you park hop, simply show your rental receipt at the next park and pick up another stroller at no extra cost.
Can I Take a Stroller Rental Back to My Resort?
Nope. Even if you’ve purchased a length-of-stay rental, Disney’s strollers must stay inside the parks. You’ll need to return them at the end of the day before leaving for your resort.
Wondering how you’ll get your stroller (and kids) from your resort to the parks? 🚍 Our WDW Resort On-Site Transportation FAQ breaks down buses, boats, monorails, and the Skyliner so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: If you know you’ll need a stroller outside the parks—for example, at your resort, Disney Springs, or just getting to and from the buses—consider a third-party stroller rental company. They’ll deliver a stroller to your hotel, and you can use it anywhere on Disney property.
Disney Stroller Rentals vs. Third-Party Vendors

Can I Rent a Stroller from a Private Vendor?
Yes! There are several outside stroller rental companies in Orlando that deliver directly to Walt Disney World resorts.
Advantages of Renting from a Private Vendor
The biggest perk is flexibility. With a private rental, you’ll have the stroller at your resort, on the way to and from the parks, and even at Disney Springs. That means no carrying tired kids from the bus stop to your room at the end of the night.
Disney’s Preferred Vendor
Disney has one officially preferred vendor: ScooterBug.
Rentals can be delivered directly to your Disney resort hotel.
You can pick them up at Bell Services or Guest Services—no need to meet a rep.
At the end of your trip, simply return the stroller to Bell Services for pickup.
📞 For details on pricing and stroller options, you can click here to visit their web site or call ScooterBug at (800) 726-8284.

Other Stroller Rental Vendors in Orlando
There are plenty of other highly rated stroller rental companies in the Orlando area. Most require you to arrange a meet-up with a representative at your hotel for both pick-up and drop-off. Orlando Stroller Rentals and Kingdom Strollers also offer pick up and drop off at their Orlando International Airport.
We’ve personally only rented through Disney directly and ScooterBug, so we can’t make firsthand recommendations for other companies. If you’d like to explore additional options, check out the top-rated stroller rental vendors on Yelp here.
Can I Bring My Own Stroller to Disney World?
Absolutely—you’re welcome to bring your own stroller to the parks, but there are a few important size rules to keep in mind.
Maximum stroller size: 31 inches (79 cm) wide by 52 inches (132 cm) long.
Wagons are not allowed—this includes stroller wagons, even the popular collapsible ones.
Disney has these guidelines in place to keep walkways clear and safe for all guests. Cast Members do check, so it’s best to measure your stroller at home before you pack it for your trip.
Strollers may not be the most glamorous part of a Disney trip, but they’re often the most practical. Whether you rent from Disney, go with a private vendor, or bring your own, the key is having a plan that keeps your little ones happy (and you less stressed!).
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: If you’re still deciding, think about where you’ll need the stroller most—inside the parks only or everywhere you go at Disney World
