It’s been a massive week for Disney Parks news! From a magical makeover coming to Frozen Ever After at EPCOT, to the long-rumored Muppets-themed coaster officially taking over Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster — plus fresh updates on 2026 pricing, Annual Pass increases, and vacation offers — there’s a lot to unpack. Here’s what’s new (and what it means for your next Disney World trip).
❄️ Frozen Ever After Gets a Next-Level Glow-Up at EPCOT
Arendelle fans, rejoice! Disney confirmed that EPCOT’s Frozen Ever After attraction will soon receive upgraded audio-animatronics — including new, fully sculpted faces for Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff. This means the ride’s projected faces (which have been a love-it-or-leave-it feature since 2016) are being replaced with the more realistic designs seen at World of Frozen in Hong Kong Disneyland.

📅 The enhancements are expected to debut in the spring of 2026, though Disney hasn’t announced closure dates yet. (Full article coming soon → Frozen Ever After Updates)

🦊 Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Brings a New Animatronic to Animal Kingdom
Beginning November 7, 2025, the Tree of Life Theater will debut a brand-new 4D experience, Zootopia: Better Zoogether! — featuring a larger-than-life Audio-Animatronic of Officer Clawhauser decked out in glow necklaces, bracelets, and a glittery Gazelle T-shirt.
We’ll be part of the celebration through the magic of 4D and the “Carrot Vision” glasses we’ll wear during the watch party experience, interacting with favorite Zootopia residents like Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and Gazelle during the citywide “Zoogether Day” festivities.

This highly anticipated re-theming will feature a brand-new Audio-Animatronic of Scooter and shine the spotlight on Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem— Animal, Janice, Floyd, and the crew — as guests race through Hollywood toward their big concert.

🗓️ Disney says the new version will debut summer of 2026, with the current Aerosmith version expected to rock on through the end of 2025.

💰 2026 Disney World Ticket and Vacation Package Pricing
Disney also released updated 2026 ticket and vacation package pricing, with small shifts across park tiers and date ranges — plus a few surprise rollbacks at EPCOT and new highs at Animal Kingdom.

💵 Walt Disney World 2026 Ticket Price Comparison
Park / Ticket Type | 2025 Range | 2026 Range | What Changed |
Magic Kingdom | $144 – $199 | $144 – $209 | Upper-end price increased by $10 → $209 on peak days. |
EPCOT | $129 – $194 | $129 – $199 | Slight $5 bump at the top; lowest tier unchanged. |
Hollywood Studios | $139 – $194 | $139 – $204 | Peak-day pricing rose $10 → $204. |
Animal Kingdom | $119 – $174 | $119 – $184 | Top-end increased $10 → $184. |
1-Day Park Hopper | up to $277 (2025) | up to $284 (starting Nov 21, 2026) | +$7 increase for same-day, multi-park access. |
🗓 These apply to visits from January 1 – October 31, 2026, and Disney has now opened booking for November and December 2026 vacations as well — giving guests the ability to plan all the way through the holiday season. That means you can now price out Thanksgiving and Christmas 2026 trips or lock in early winter resort stays under current package rates.
💡 Prices remain before tax and continue to follow Disney’s date-based pricing calendar, so holidays and weekends will sit at the higher end of the range.
✨ What These Changes Really Mean
Single-day ticket ranges only climbed about $5–$10 per park, but many travel dates have quietly moved into higher tiers — especially weekends and spring break season. Park Hopper tickets will also hit new highs, topping out at $284 before tax by late November.
Meanwhile, Dining Plan rates rose slightly for 2026 (about a dollar or two per person, per night), and new discount offers for early next year bundle room-and-ticket packages with up to $250 off per night — helping offset some of those higher costs.
Pop over to our Disney Discounts and Offers post to see a deeper dive into the current package and room-only deals, and what might be best for your family.

🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Book early if you can — locking in vacation packages at current rates gives you flexibility to apply new discounts later, and you’ll stay one step ahead of future price bumps.

🎟️ Annual Pass Prices Just Went Up

Bad news for Passholders — Walt Disney World quietly increased Annual Pass prices today (October 8, 2025) for both new purchases and renewals (sad for us — we’re renewing in a couple of weeks!).
Pass Type | New Price | Previous Price |
Incredi-Pass | $1,649 | $1,549 |
Sorcerer Pass | $1,149 | $1,079 |
Pirate Pass | $899 | $829 |
Pixie Dust Pass | $499 | $469 |
That’s an average increase of $30–$100 per tier, and renewal prices climbed accordingly (still about 15% off the new base rates).
💡 Florida residents can still use the monthly payment plan with a $205 down payment — that part hasn’t changed.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: If your renewal window opens soon, complete it as early as possible next time. Disney rarely gives advance warning before AP hikes, so acting fast can lock in the previous rate before changes go live.
✨ What’s Next
We’ll be diving deeper into all of these attraction updates over the next few days — with a closer look at the new Frozen Ever After figures, Zootopia’s immersive effects, and all the Muppet-y mayhem coming to Hollywood Studios.
