Celestial Park Portal

Celestial Park

Step into a lush, green world where every corner invites you on an exhilarating journey of discovery. Celestial Park seamlessly blends thrilling rides, captivating entertainment, enticing dining, and unique shopping experiences into one magical space. Enhanced by the nearby Universal Helios Grand Hotel, whose entrance opens right into the back of Celestial Park, this central hub becomes your gateway to excitement. From here, portals to the other lands branch out, whisking you away to the diverse realms that make up the Epic Universe's magic.

***FYI, we’ve crowdsourced and highlighted the best rides and snacks for you. We’re heading there in mid-May for one of the final preview days, and we’ll update you with our thoughts!

Constellation Carousel
🎠 Constellation Carousel – A Stellar Spin

The centerpiece of Celestial Park, where magic meets motion:

  • Star Studded Vehicles: Ride in beautifully themed vehicles inspired by real life constellations.

  • Dynamic Excitement: The carousel offers a 360° spin with vehicles that rise and fall nearly 6 feet—adding an extra dash of thrill.

  • Playful Pairings: Most animal themed vehicles accommodate both an adult and a child, while a bench-style options provide a more relaxed ride.

🎢 Stardust Racers – High Speed Galactic Thrills
***Best Ride for Thrill Seekers at Epic Universe

Epic Universe’s signature roller coaster that will leave you breathless:

  • Thrill Packed Ride: Feel the rush as this dueling coaster rockets you up to 62 mph, climbs to heights of 133 feet, and zooms along nearly a mile of dynamic, curving track.

  • Immersive Queue: The Jules Verne inspired, outdoor queue (equipped with electric fans for a cooling breeze) sets an exhilarating tone right from the start.

  • Gravity Defying Twists: Featuring an advanced lap restraint system, this coaster offers twists reminiscent of Universal’s VelociCoaster and delivers flawlessly weightless moments.

Note: Riders must be at least 48 inches tall.

***Pixie Dust Pro Tip: If the intensity of VelociCoaster style thrills isn’t your cup of tea, don’t worry—there are plenty of other magical adventures waiting for you in the park!

Dining at Celestial Park

You’ll find plenty of dining spots at Celestial Park that cover a bunch of different flavors and cravings. Plus, with plenty of bars around, it’s a great place to kick back and enjoy your favorite adult drink while soaking up the vibe.

🌊 Atlantic : Nestled across from the Neptune Pool, this table service restaurant offers an undersea culinary experience reminiscent of a grand Victorian aquarium as you dine beneath gently illuminated fish and starfish drifting overhead. This full‑service restaurant showcases fresh seafood, succulent steaks, and handcrafted cocktails—promising an enchanting adventure beneath the waves. *** If you have a kiddo who loves sweets (or if you have a sweet tooth) make sure to order the Landlubber’s Snickerdoodle Loot, a beach themed dessert featuring a snickerdoodle cake served in a beach pail with cookie butter ganache, surrounded by crumbled Biscoff (cookie) sand with gummy sharks!

🐉 The Blue Dragon Pan‑Asian Restaurant: The Blue Dragon Pan‑Asian Restaurant features a vibrant courtyard lit by ethereal lanterns. In this table service restaurant savor an array of Pan‑Asian dishes and creative cocktails while neon dragons dance across the walls.

🔥 The Oak & Star Tavern:  In Celestial Park’s cosmic garden, gather around the fiery hearth of The Oak & Star Tavern. This quick‑service spot specializes in smoky, mouthwatering barbecue -  make sure to pair it with the mango bread. You will thank us.

🍕 The Pizza Moon:  Step into the early 1900s Victorian‑theater themed quick sevice restaurant and choose from classic cheese pies or inventive specialty pizzas, each baked to golden perfection.

🌠 Meteor Astropub: Blast off to Meteor Astropub where all your favorite pub fare is served in a fun, meteor-themed hangout.

🔔 Know Before You Go

Plan ahead to make the most of your Epic Universe adventure:

  • 🚗 Parking & Transportation: Epic Universe is a short drive from the Universal Studios Florida/Islands of Adventure/CityWalk complex—so allow extra travel time.

    • Standard parking: $32 per day (same as CityWalk garage)

    • Valet parking: Starts at $32 for two hours (rates vary by time of day and stay duration)

  • 🗺️ Park Layout & Navigation: Unlike Magic Kingdom’s compact hub, Celestial Park stretches out like a grand corridor with “portals” to each realm on its left and right. Since lands aren’t interconnected, you’ll always return to Celestial Park to travel between them—expect a bit of backtracking and extra steps.

  • 🚶‍♂️ Walking: Be ready for more walking than you might expect - and plenty of stairs, especially in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. Don’t worry, though, well-marked elevators are available at every major attraction for a seamless experience.

  • 👥 Crowds & Tight Spaces: While each themed land is expansive, some areas or experiences (Dark Universe, in particular) can feel more enclosed during peak times. Consider visiting those attractions early or late in the day to avoid the busiest periods.

  • Accessibility & Limited Mobility: We have a general Universal Orlando Accessibility Pass & Limited Mobility guides. We’re working on a dedicated accessibility and limited mobility guide for Epic Universe. We’ll update this post with a link as soon as it’s complete—stay tuned!

With these pointers in your pocket, you’re all set to explore the wonders of Epic Universe without missing a beat!
