Something new has fluttered into Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa — and it’s every bit as elegant as you’d expect. 🕊️ The Perch Lobby Bar brings a fresh sense of luxury to the resort’s newly reimagined lobby, combining artful design, signature drinks, and old-fashioned Disney hospitality.
The Perch Lobby Bar officially opened November 10, 2025 (after a soft opening over the weekend), adding a graceful new space to the heart of the Grand Floridian’s refreshed lobby. After years of construction walls and careful updates, this stunning new bar feels like the perfect finishing touch — and an inviting new place to unwind with a cocktail and soak in the resort’s signature charm.

✨ A Fresh Take on Grand Floridian Elegance
When we visited the Grand Floridian this summer for a Spa Day at the Grand Floridian Spa (we shared all the details in our Grand Floridian Spa Review if you missed it!), the new bar lounge was still tucked behind construction walls — but we could already see glimmers of what was coming. By early fall, we caught another glimpse of the lobby refresh taking shape, and it was clear the transformation was going to be stunning. The refreshed design felt lighter, brighter, and more open, while still keeping that timeless, turn-of-the-century elegance the Grand Floridian is known for.
Now, The Perch carries that refreshed feeling forward. Perched (pun totally intended!) just off the main lobby, this new bar features bird-inspired stained glass, soft brass details, and rich wood tones that tie everything together. It’s cozy and classy all at once - like stepping into a sunlit Victorian conservatory where every corner invites conversation and a clink of glassware.
🧚♀️ Pixie Dust Pro Tip: Bar seating can fill quickly in the evenings, but friendly Cast Members also take orders from nearby lobby lounge chairs — so you can sip and people-watch under those gorgeous chandeliers without leaving your seat.

The Perch’s drink list gives classic Grand Floridian sophistication a fresh, Florida twist. A few early standouts:

Early reviewers are raving about the Florida 7 , while the Coffee Rum Sazerac might not be everyone’s cup of tea — or absinthe. 😉. We think the Blueberry & Basil Iced Tea looks intriguing, and we are looking foward to trying all three on our December trip.
