Registering for Disability Access Service (DAS) at the parks

Updated: Apr 9

***Starting May 20, 2024 Disney's Disability Access Service (DAS) must be registered using Disney's online video chat. Read more about the changes here.

If you have decided not to pre-register for the Disability Access Service, registering at the parks is a fairly simple process.

Where do I go to register for a DAS?

You need to visit Guest Relations inside any of the WDW resort parks in order to register for DAS.

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom - to the left side of the main entrance

  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios - to the left of the turnstiles at the main entrance.

  • EPCOT - on the left side of Spaceship Earth

  • Magic Kingdom - City Hall on the left of Main Street USA just past the railroad station.

Can I register for a DAS at the Guest Relations outside of the park entrances or at Disney Springs?

No, a DAS can only be requested at Guest Relations inside the park.

Do I need to bring paperwork from a doctor or therapist in order to register?

No, Cast Members will ask about the reason the guest struggles with waiting in line, but never ask for paperwork from the guest’s doctor.

What happens during the DAS registration process?

The cast member will scan the MagicBand or ticket of the guest requesting the DAS. They will ask a few questions about why the guest needs the accommodations and what struggles they may have. Then the cast member will take a picture of the guest, and scan the MagicBands or tickets of the rest of the guest’s party to also add them to the DAS - up to five additional members. Sometimes they even book your first DAS reservation.

Can I register for my minor child without them being present?

No, the guest who is qualifying must be present for the DAS to be issued. A guest who is under 18 must have a parent or guardian present for the DAS to be issued.

Who else should be present when registering for a DAS?

The entire party, up to five additional guests, must be present in order to be added to the guest’s DAS. If a family member is not present, they can be added by returning to Guest Services with them at a later time.
